Noel E. "Peck" Springer established Springer Funeral Home in the early 40s and served the community for over 20 years. In 1962, Clyde Littlepage purchased the firm and served the community with great care and concern until his death in 1972. At that time, Melvin and Betty McCoy purchased the funeral home from the Littlepage estate.
In the early 1990s, Melvin McCoy was joined by licensed funeral director, George Giles, hailing from Clyde, Texas. After many years of dedicated service, Mr. Giles purchased McCoy Funeral Home in 2005. Mr. Giles considers it his highest honor to continue to serve the families of Kent, Stonewall, and King Counties with great care and compassion and the highest level of quality service.
